When you take vitamins orally, your digestive system absorbs only a fraction of the nutrients — often less than 20%. IV therapy delivers nutrients directly into your bloodstream, achieving near 100% absorption so your body gets the full benefit immediately.
Most IV infusions take 45–65 minutes. Some advanced therapies like NAD+ or Iron Infusions take longer (140–260 minutes). IM shots are typically just 15 minutes.

It depends on your personal goals. Some clients benefit from weekly sessions, others prefer monthly maintenance. Our nurses will help you find the right schedule during your consultation.
Most of our infusions do not require a prescription. Iron Infusions are the exception and do require a prescription. All first-time clients complete a Good Faith Consultation with a medical provider before their first treatment.
This guide is for patients currently enrolled in our Tirzepatide weight loss program. Always follow the specific instructions provided by your Nurse Practitioner. When in doubt, call our team before administering.
Tirzepatide is a prescription medication overseen by our Nurse Practitioner. Only administer the dose prescribed to you. Never share your medication. Contact our office immediately if you experience severe nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, or signs of an allergic reaction.
Your Tirzepatide and L-Carnitine are compounded together in the same vial. You only need one injection per week to receive both medications — there is no need to draw from separate vials or combine them yourself.

Clean, well-lit surface
Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before handling any supplies.
Check the vial label to confirm it is your medication and the correct concentration. Inspect the solution — it should be clear and colorless. Do not use if cloudy, discolored, or contains particles.
Wipe the rubber stopper of the vial with a fresh alcohol swab and allow it to air dry for 10–15 seconds.
Pull the plunger back to draw air into the syringe equal to your prescribed dose. Common doses: 0.25ml (2.5mg), 0.5ml (5mg or 10mg), 0.6ml (12.5mg), 0.75ml (7.5mg or 15mg). Always confirm your exact dose with your NP.
Insert the needle straight down through the center of the rubber stopper. Push the air from the syringe into the vial — this creates positive pressure and makes drawing easier.
Invert the vial (turn it upside down) while keeping the needle tip below the liquid. Slowly pull back the plunger to your prescribed dose. Remove any air bubbles by gently tapping the syringe and pushing bubbles out.
Pull the needle straight out of the vial. Set the vial down and prepare to inject. Do not let the needle touch any surface.
Tirzepatide is administered as a subcutaneous (under the skin) injection. Recommended sites: abdomen (at least 2 inches from your belly button), outer thigh, or back of the upper arm. Rotate sites weekly to prevent irritation.
Wipe the selected area with a fresh alcohol swab using a circular motion. Allow to dry completely for 10–15 seconds — injecting through wet skin increases discomfort.
Gently pinch a fold of skin between your thumb and forefinger at the injection site. This lifts the subcutaneous tissue away from the muscle.
Hold the syringe like a pencil at a 45–90° angle to the skin. Insert the needle quickly and smoothly using a dart-like motion. A 45° angle is preferred for leaner injection sites; 90° works well for the abdomen.
Slowly and steadily push the plunger all the way down to deliver the full dose. Do not rush — slow injection reduces discomfort.
Release the pinched skin, then remove the needle at the same angle it was inserted. Apply gentle pressure with a clean swab if needed — do not rub. Place the used syringe needle-first into an empty plastic pop bottle, screw the lid on tightly, and dispose of in the trash.
Tirzepatide is administered once weekly on the same day each week. Your Nurse Practitioner will determine your starting dose and escalation schedule based on your individual health profile, tolerance, and response to treatment. Doses are increased gradually to minimize side effects and maximize results.

This is a separate IM injection — it does not affect how you draw up or administer your compounded Tirzepatide vial at home.
